2016 Dragonfly (55% Merlot; 45% Cab Franc) – 2013 Dragonfly has garnet hue and aromas of cherries, raspberries, plums, and dates. These are supported by aromas of toast, butter, chocolate, and hints of vanilla. The palate of this wine has good acidity and soft tannins. It is a very approachable red wine.
This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish, tuna, harder cheeses such as parmesan, Bolognese sauce, shrimp fra diavolo, berries or chocolate.
