2016 Rose’ has a salmon hue and immediate aromas of cranberries, strawberries and watermelon. There are hints of citrus on the finish and subtle floral notes looming as well. The palate of the wine has great bright acidity and it does have some weight on the palate. This wine is truly a delightful example of what dry Rose’s can be.
This wine would pair well with crab, cod, halibut, chicken, prosciutto wrapped melon, salad nicoise, hummus or fresh fruit.
