Sean Kramer grew up in Pittsburgh with his two brothers where you could more often than not find them on the soccer field. Sean earned his BS in Biology from Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he captained the men’s soccer team as a player and went on to become their head coach. He was honored as Coach of the Year during his tenure at Denison.
His career took him to boutique resort management spanning from Negril, Jamaica to Lake Tahoe, CA.
Returning to the East Coast , Sean came full circle back to his biology roots growing grapes and tending to the vines at Grace Winery. While continuing his role as innkeeper, he quickly learned about the viticulture and enology business. Grace Winery was founded in 2008 as an addition to the grounds of Sweetwater Farm Bed and Breakfast. Sean Kramer has been part of the team from its inception.
Sean believes that Pennsylvania has the ability to make excellent wine and strives to make that happen at Grace Winery. “Great wine begins in the vineyard and continues into the cellar with a combination of art and science. Our goal is make a balanced wine with flavors that are distinct to our terroir. I want to help create an experience that all wine lovers can enjoy. ”
